The FRET DADDIES started in 1998 as an acoustic folk-rock-blues trio. Today they can be seen as a full band at various Akron-area venues. In May 2007, The Akron Beacon Journal listed the Daddies as one of the TOP TEN BANDS in the Akron area (or as Rick likes to say -- "Number 9 with a bullet!"
